NEW PRICE CEILING FOR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS ON THE LIBERIAN MARKET EFFECTIVE MAY 29, 2012

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, in close consultation with the management of the Liberian Petroleum Refining Company, (LPRC), announces with immediate effect a decrease in the wholesale and retail pump price of gasoline (PMS) only on the Liberian Market.

There is a US$0.20 cents decrease in the price of gasoline, (PMS), while Fuel Oil (AGO), Jey A-1 and AKT remain the same.

Therefore, the wholesale and retail ceiling prices are:

 Description  Wholesale  Retail
 PMS  US$4.39 US$4.57/LD345
 AGO  US$4.58  US$4.76/LD355
 Kerosene/Jet A-1  US$4.57  US$4.57/LD355

The new price structures of petroleum products will be closely monitored by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Inspectorate Division to avoid any arbitrary price hike on the market.
