The Liberia Standards Authority (LiSA), in collaboration with its parent body-the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, on Thursday, July 10, 2025, held a one - day stakeholders’ meeting aimed at strengthening Liberia’s regulatory sector, with focus on ensuring consumer protection.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry-EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town, the Director General of LiSA, Stephen Mambu, said the entity would continue to push for a healthy business environment where food safety and related standards are upheld.
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI), on Friday, June 27, 2025, successfully concluded the observance of the 2025 International MSMEs Day at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Congo Town.
The program, held in collaboration with EcoBank Liberia Limited was aimed at fostering the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of Liberian-owned Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs). Other partner institutions that graced the occasion are the Liberia Business Association (LIBA), Liberia Chamber of Commerce (LCC) and Jeety Trading Corporation (JTC).
