MoCI On The Move To Digitize IPD & EPD Regimes
The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, over the couple of days has been making concerted efforts to get its IPD and EDP Regimes digitized. One of the approaches being used by the Ministry to achieve this worthy idea is capacity-building workshops for employees who are directly engaged in IPD and EDP-related functions.
Undoubtedly, these training programs are geared toward effective performance and service delivery to the public.

The automated link, when operationalized will enable the public, mainly the business community, to have easy access to the Ministry’s IPD and EPD System through electronic means, etc.
At the opening of the workshop, the Deputy Minister for Commerce & Trade Services, Wilmot A. Reeves urged the participants to take the training seriously, considering its importance to making the Ministry accessible to the public, especially the planned automation of the IPD and EPD Regimes.
Deputy Minister Reeves told the trainees that the roll out plan would be characterized by a series of engagements with relevant stakeholders.
