
Minister Dagoseh Recognizes Private Sector Contribution To Economy
The Minister of Commerce & Industry, Magdalene E. Dagoseh says her entity recognizes the import role the private sector plays in driving economic growth.
She said private enterprises do not only generate employment, but also strengthen supply chains and stimulate local entrepreneurship, particularly through partnerships with Liberian SMEs.
She added that the Ministry of Commerce & Industry is fully committed to supporting the business community by promoting policies that improve the ease of doing business, encourage responsible investment, and foster fair and inclusive trade.
Minister Dagoseh made the statement today during the re-opening of Exclusive Super Store in Sinkor.
The Commerce & Industry Minister observed that the reopening of Exclusive Super Store signifies more than the return of a retail outlet, but a renewed hope for confidence in the Liberian economy, and a strong contribution to national development through job creation, consumer access to quality goods, and support for local enterprises.
Speaking further, she indicated that the Ministry of Commerce & Industry remains focused on building a robust framework where local businesses can scale, compete, and strive alongside international partners.
Minister Dagoseh, on behalf of President Joseph Nyumah Boakai lauded the Management of Exclusive Supper Store and staff for their dedication and resilience in the face of challenges.
